Katika pitapita yangu, nilifanikiwa kupata asili ya neno Urambo. Nilivutiwa sana hivyo sikutaka kuwa mchoyo nikaona niwajulishe wadau wangu nami mfahamu. Nakumbuka kuna siku swali hili liliulizwa mahali lakini hakuna aliyeweza kulitolea majibu sawasa. Watu walijiuma uma tu. Sasa, asili ya Urambo ni hii hapa chini. Na nitaiandika kwa Kiingereza kama nilivyoisoma ili nisipunguze utamu. Nanukuu kama ifuatavyo:
"Usisya is the original name for Urambo known today. During the Chief Kinambaga ( Usisya) administration came into being by a famous hunter who his real name was placed by the Word Mulambo meaning carcas. He killed many animals as a result different people from various places of Usisya who came to ask for meat used that famous name Mulambo later on the place where carcaces were found was also nicknamed Mulambo.
However, between 1925/26 and 1940s when visitors started to enter the place and particularly the overse as food co-rporation (1447) couldnot pronounces the word Mulambo instead by pronounces it as Urambo.
The district has heterogeneous population composition. The indigenous tribes of the district are Nyamwezi, mainly found in Urambo and Ussoke division and Sumbwa in Ulyankulu Division".
